Usually I'm excited about the event but not this time. For me the magic is missing and I'm trying to figure out why.

I have a G5 2.0 since 2005 and it's been fantastic machine. No hardware issues and worth every penny. I originaly chose this as I'm a great believer in components being separated rather than integrated. Back then reliability for iMacs were not as …

I'm still using Mac Pro mid 2005 2.0 dual proc. Superb machine and going strong. Problem is software is moving forward and my poor machine is being left behind. Don't need the power of the latest Mac Pro but like to keep things separate i.e tower an…

I think it will likely be a divdend or buy back. Tim's way of putting down a marker now he's in charge. However I would like to see some major acquisitions intstead. ARM or Samsung would do nicely. I know it wouldn't happen

Got my hands on a new iPad yesterday. Superb screen with no bleed. I have a 2 and even though the screen was gorgeous it didn't compel me to upgrade It felt just like a 2 but with better screen, plus I noticed it dit get more noticeably warmer…

Maybe Apple should jus buy Samsung

I'm surprised that the CPU was not clocked a bit higher. At the end of the day it's about user experience. For that the iPad is untouchable. Seriously considered upgrading from my iPad 2 but will now wait for the fourth generation which hopefull…

If this is true then I will impulse buy even though I have an iPad 2.

The new iPad needs more ram for the simple fact the graphics resolution will be so much more higher. I think it's simple as that. For me I would like to see 2gb of ram with the proposed resolution of the new display. Not going to happen though

Hope Apple keep with the same price structure. It would put them further ahead of the game compared to the competition. Might as well go for the kill.

Will be interesting to see their next move.

HD display for iPad3 then over the course of the next 18 months all Macs to be upgraded. Complete differentiator to other manufactures. Was there not a comment in the last earnings call about a product transition? Who was Slappy?

At the end of the day it comes down to cost/performance. Those displays will not be cheap. It will be about the display this year. The extra power of the GPU and CPU just doing enough to drive the display. With 1GB of ram, possibly 32GB of storage a…
