that article requires a subscription. The most exciting technology to wait for? OLED. Plain and simple. It will revolutionize all screens. The biggest impact will be on laptops. I cant wait.

seems to me it would be just as hard to cram a G5 into a 17" given it is the thinest of the models. I think hey all have an equal engineering challenge being they were all made as small as possible...

as long as i have the finances in order i too will be waiting with my mouse hand on the buy button come MWSF. I am worried however about the possible destruction of the beautiful slim aluminum\

dual core. it will be faster and consume little power. But the future is the G5 I think... especially with tiger.

i'd rather have a new dual core G4 than a g5 me thinks

5 pounds is around the limit. carrying it around all the time is no fun.. especially when you have other things to carry and have back problems. I want a computer that is portable... not a freakin desktop[. i have that at home

apple is too bent on not compromising power for portability... even though the 12 inch is very portable. I am in a similar boat and will get the 12". it is perfect. as for carrying weight what i do is copy pages from my textbooks that are big for th…
