A while back was there not talk of AAPL moving to the Dow ? I know very little about such things maybe someone with more knowledge can answer : Is this a sign that AAPL has out grown the Nasdaq, can it move and should it move?
this strategy worked really well for Palm.
I am sure Sony tried to sell eBook readers over 7 years ago and my old HandSpring Visor had an eBook application.

On the MacBook family the trackpad is getting a bit old hat, could it be replaced with a screen and icons for functions? It would save having to remember function keys and cmd combinations. It could be application specific as well.

Which would be better for the Transmeta shareholders? A licensing deal on the patents or being bought out by Intel in order to make the problem go away.
Is there much point in anyone trying to compete with the iPod as a music player given that the chances are the iPod will soon evolve in to a combined music player & mobile phone? The battle for market share is then with Moto, Nokia etc.
