From the CNN article: "He thinks that iBooks will come cheaper than the company's Macbook Pro line of Intel-based laptops, which replaced the company's Power Book line, targeted at professional users" I could have told you that lol.....

.. so its possible we might see price cuts to the PPC G4 iBook and Mac mini before they are replaced with Intel versions.

Well the "New" Intel iMacs that were announced as being the same price as before are actually more expensive here in the UK than the G5 iMacs.

Get that iSight crap out and put a Superdrive in as standard... Apple will be a laughing stock selling a $1000 computer with CDRW in 2006 - worse, the tag of selling over priced hardware would be fully justified.

Why are people STILL expecting intel Macs in a couple of months? Apple have consistently said they will appear Summer (June) 2006.

Well the rumours of upcoming updates haven't said much about the 12" Powerbook - some have even suggested it will be dropped. Maybe the 12" iBook could take it's place?

Im pretty sure the rumour is true... I posted this in another forum. I called one of the largest resellers of Apple products in the UK (John Lewis) to ask if they had the Mac mini in stock - thsy didnt, so I asked when they expected more in st…

So where did the story a few days ago about the nano not selling as well as exected come from? Do these "analysts" know what they're talking about? lol

ThinkSecret are pretty good at predicting when new hardware is coming......however, when it comes to the specs of that new hardware, they are not nearly as reliable as people think.
