So....let met get this straight: Apple has best ever financial quarter and investors are disappointed? This doesn't make a lick of sense!

How about a space gray on the MacBook Pro?
-
I don't think USB 3.1 will ship on anything until 2014.

Not really. The 17 inch MacBook Pro is something that I've been toting around for the last 4 1/2 years without a problem. The problem is when Apple introduced a new MacBook Pro 15 inch that has a resolution far greater than the 17 inch ever had &…

Dave, I agree with TenThousandThings about the whole quoting everything. Holy crap, it's tedious. That said....I read it all & agree 100% with everything you just wrote haha!

This is what really bugs me about Apple. There are a lot of people that don't necessarily need a quad-core screamer in their computer but want a larger screen. If Apple included a dual-core low-voltage i5 (upgradeable to i7) in a 15-inch MacBook…

Actually, I take that back. I think it would be better if Apple increased the screen size in the 13-inch form factor to a 14-inch screen. That would probably work better and reduce the bezel size, something Apple seems to be doing with the iPad …

I think a 15-inch MacBook Air is overdue. I don't think laptops are going anywhere in the near term.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (who's been very accurate with Apple's product roadmap plans in the past) claims that there is going to be a new design retina MacBook Pro this year & that everything's going retina in the MacBook Pro range.…

I wouldn't mind the same form factor, IPS display at 1920 x 1200. They could even do the same screen bonding as on the retinas. But instead they just gave up on the 17-inch model.

I'm writing this on my 2009 unibody anti-glare 17-inch MacBook Pro that I received exactly 4 years ago. I don't find it a hinderance to carry around & at the time I bought it there were plenty of smaller 15-inch laptops from all of the other …

For the first time, the 27-inch iMac is an attractive option to me. I would get one with the Fusion Drive. But I'm more inclined to get a Mac mini and display so I don't have to throw away a perfectly working screen in order to improve my comput…

Apple will probably update this display when they revise the Mac Pro sometime in 2013.

I can see how this whole thing plays out right now… Tim Cook does the typical business recap that's done at the beginning of every one of these events; showing off new Apple retail stores, iPods, music, etc. As part of the "look at how…

What's with the obsession with thinness? I can see making laptops thinner & lighter for easier portability but this is getting a little ridiculous!

I have a 17 inch MacBook Pro. I bought it in 2009. I love it. I was bummed when the 17 inch MacBook Pro was discontinued. I really like the retina MacBook Pro. I've seen it a few times at the Apple stores and have almost bought it. But then there…

OK the parts for an updated Mini are available. WTF is Apple waiting for?
