I bought my 23" Cinema Display 6 weeks ago, and have no problems with it. No dead pixels, no pink haze, good colors and good looking... great screen !

Mac OSX Cheetah still sounds cool ...

Thank you all for the input. I think I'll go for the 2.7 GHz with 2 Gig RAM and buy the X800 XT when the price drops.

I, for one, wouldn't mind if Apple stole some idea's from M$ for a change. Why not ? I'm always frustrated that the Evil Empire steals good idea's from Apple and get away with it. Now Apple steals too, as every company, but from M$ ... That would be…

Illustrator CS2 has it build in, as in the previous versions. But AI CS2 seems to have a much more powerfull tracer. Didn't try it myself, though. Experiences, anyone ?

Isn't anyone worried about the liquid cooling in the 2.7 Ghz (as well as the 2.5) ? I'm all for the 2.7, but I am hesitating since the fridge may leak after a few years. Or is it ? I never read any reports of anyone having this problem, then again, …

Sure. Apple's OS's never require a serial number.

I'm puzzled here: why doesn't Apple offer the ATI 9800 Pro, at least as a BTO ? And then there's the X800, wich is a much better card. Too expensive ? Ok, but at least give us a choice.

What's the difference between a Radeon X800 and a Radeon 9650 ?

Well, we knew what was coming ... That said, I'm all for the 2.7 Mhz. Besides the 'small speedbump' talk we hear lately, it's a pretty powerfull machine. The only thing I fear is the refrigerator to cool the CPU (2.7 Mhz only). Anyone had experie…

I bought the Apple HD 23" two weeks ago, and didn't regret it. I was having doubts too, looking at the Dell. But now I'm sitting in front of it, I'm quite pleased by it's beauty, and the quality of the screen.

Maybe this is a fair indication of the speed of Tiger. Looks good

Happens to everyone, I guess. I have it all the time since Panther. Hope Tiger will fix this bug. The only thing you can do is a) reboot, or better b) reboot the Finder by force-quitting and relaunching it.

It's not gonna happen ! Tiger 's not even beta yet. How could it be finished in three weeks ? Get real.
