If we're to believe the Goldman-Sachs report today, it won't matter much, since Apple will be rate limiting the bandwidth if you have a Qualcomm RF chip instead of an Intel one, ,to match the latter's ~ 20% smaller bandwidth.

Excuse me, Miss. All of Nebraska has a population of 1.9 million, while New York City alone has a population of over 8.5 million. Aren't you comparing oranges and, er, oh, never mind.

Here's hoping that "smart" bans make it possible for people to wear their Watches on the inside of their wrists while maintaining functionality.

Gurman badmouths Apple every chance he can get, but is merely showing his ignorance. He's wrong almost every time. Check out the back numbers of The Macalope column on MacWord's site: there's an "Apple is about to fail; Apple is terribly managed; Ap…

Could be because of this: http://www.mytwintiers.com/news/local-news/apple-warns-consumers-of-itunes-gift-card-scams . Recently read of people (old? confused?) who were convinced by phone fraud artists to purchase iTunes gift cards to pay off suppo…

"[I]t will be the company's first machine entirely assembled in the U.S." I don't believe Apple started assembling abroad until the early '90s. Before that, _all_ of Apple's machines, Apple IIs, IIIs, Lisas, and Macs, were assembled in the USA, thou…

I've been looking at RSS newsreaders since realizing that 10.8 would omit this useful feature from Safari. All the newsreaders seem pointless (and pointlessly costly) to me: all they do, once the user selects a story to read, is imitate a Web brow…
