isnt the ipod photo that is available now considered 5th generation? meaning, would they just update this when they update the regular 4th generation ones in the summer, but not release a new one when they release the 5th generation regular ones?

Or an easier way might be to disable the eject key and then make it so to eject you have to press function f12 and f12 for dashboard. I never eject that way so it wouldnt be a big deal

I use Sony for DVDs. They are actually pretty cheap, and for a 2 gb project it takes no more than 5 minutes.

this is the same problem i am having. cant help you unfortunatly. im just wondering, if you are burning a cd are you using itunes/finder? because i would think those would work. however toast and popcorn do not work with tiger, on my ibook atleast

well yes i am on a laptop, but to eject you have to hold f12 to eject, i thought if you just press it then dashboard comes up. but fn f12 is more work than f8 so ill just use that then. thanks for your help
