None of the NatGeo channels (because of Disney maybe?) or Discovery Science seem to be available with this package...that’s a shame.

I’ve always wondered why Samsung doesn’t incorporate its own SOC design on its smartphones in markets like the US etc...From what I’ve read, their latest design is about on par processing power wise with Apple’s A12 series. Instead they use the appa…

A rating of 2 out of 5...harsh! But deserved. This was easily the most disappointing new camera release of 2018/19. And I’m a photo enthusiast and Canon user. I wish Canon would get their head out of their ass when it comes to their camera designs. …

Ah so that might of been a reason for her to leave...I didn’t realize she left her family in the UK while at Apple across the pond.

Come to think of it, putting an HR person in charge of retail while still retaining her former duties, seems liked a rushed panicky decision. So maybe Apple was caught off guard after all?

carnegie said: https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2019/02/apple-names-deirdre-obrien-senior-vice-president-of-retail-and-people/ I guess it makes sense that Ms. Ahrendts would leave in April. She has about 105,000 time-based RSUs due to vest on …

I don’t even bother to check out games on the App Store anymore. It seems that 99% of them are freemium anyway, where you pay for those in-app purchases. I tried going that route but the costs just built up too much. Which is great for developers bu…

I hope Apple does include USB-C on its new budget iPads releasing this year. Lightning is really looking like obsolete technology now. Also as USB-C is a universal widely available standard now, I’d imagine it would actually be cheaper to incorporat…

Couldn’t they use localized haptic feedback to provide that clicky sensation of a standard keyboard?

My biggest disappointment concerning the 8 Plus when I got it was the rear camera image quality, which was poorer than I was expecting, especially at high magnification, where a water color effect was much more noticeable than on my previous 5S. As …

normang said: If I recall, DXO has not been overly friendly to Apple in regards to Camera scores, so I take this with a grain of salt. It hasn’t been overtly unfriendly either. Apple’s iPhone cameras usually just lag behind Samsung’s and G…

If Apple is really serious about the pro market it should allow for support of Nvidia. It’s long overdue!

A 7th gen device using the A12 and the stalwart 5.5” display from the iPhone 8 Plus with either 64 or 256 GB storage options and launched later this year. Would make a great, powerful but still reasonably priced entrance into Apple services...or may…

A very good article! Without the overt Apple fanboying and putting down of other companies in competition with Apple for once.

“Apple has not lowered guidance for a current quarter in more than 15 years” However you look at it, this is bad!

This is absolute BS from Apple. I don’t bloody well care what they claim for their high manufacturing standards. A (very) premium priced product like this, that is supposed to be flat should not be visibly bent new from the factory! I reckon if they…

Another reason I generally won’t purchase a first gen Apple product if it’s either a new product catagory or a complete redesign of an existing product catagory. Hopefully next year’s ‘second-gen’ redesigned iPad Pro won’t have this issue.

If you want good security stick with Apple’s stock interface. If you to tinker with customization with a little less security there’s Android. Jailbreaking on an iPhone is very niche and an irresponsible thing to do.

Ugh! Get Eddy Cue out of Apple already!
