Apple says this supports up to 96kHz, and means users "can enjoy high-fidelity, full-resolution audio."

    —except ’s own Hi-Res Lossless in 192 kHz 👀🤭
Soooo???? You're saying they therefore shouldn't have improved it all then?

Probably that you can't call something 'full resolution' if you yourself deliver a much higher resolution.
The average human can detect sound in the 20Hz to 20 kHZ.  96kHz is way outside the range of human hearing.
Actually only children can hear up to 20kHz in most cases. Adults usually can only hear up to about 14kHz I believe.

  • Mac Pro now available with $2600 8TB SSD option

I used to visit Apple's site and build towers that topped out at 11 grand, then drooling before closing window. This new Mac Pro is a lot more fun, and keeps getting better!
Lol...I used to do that too!

  • iPad Pro with 'A14X' plus 16-inch MacBook Pro with Mini LED display expected in late 2020

    Why are they skipping A13?

Is 13 an unlucky number or something?
I suppose for many people...yes. But unlikely the reason the iPad seems to be skipping it. Just release dates, Apple are unlikely to release an A14 powered iPhone 12, then an A13X powered new iPad.

  • 'iPhone 12' line expected to use two different OLED screen technologies

Likely 120Hz for the high-end pro models, while sticking with 60Hz for the base model. Hopefully Apple can reliably create a 120Hz OLED, as the fastest smartphone OLEDs currently on the market (via Android) seem to top out at 90Hz.

  • Jony Ive removed from Apple's leadership page, marking the end of an era

"However, it's hard not to see Design as being something less important now in Apple. It's hard to see it as something even approaching as crucial as it used to be."

I'm not sure I agree with this.  There are more design ideologies/methodologies in the world than Jony Ive's and Steve Jobs', both of whom I have immeasurable respect for.
You know why he left, right? Tim Cook and the Co rejected many designs from Ive: iPhone SE 2 was real and same doe many other designs that were leaked. What do you think Apple had the same phone physical platforms for 3-4 years now (4, 4S, 5, 5S then 6, 6S, 7, 8, then X, XS, 11)? It’s because Ive’s designs were rejected. I could understand his frustration. We could’ve had more phone designs if Ive’s ideas didn’t get rejected.
Nah, all conjecture on your part. Where’s the proof?
