I use the iPad keyboard a lot. You can get a good speed on it. The trouble with it is that being a flat unyielding surface it can be hard on the fingers. A proper keyboard is always the best option for me.

I don't take anything back out of what I wrote. I did say that the program loaded safely on my iPad and it is a good, well thought out program, but there is non-the-less, a bug. Apple have acknowledge that, affecting iPhones. I have tried all the su…

That sounded very patronising. Yes I do back up most of my work, that's not the issue. Given the high value that Apple gives to the quality of his products, this is an error that should not have happened. Wisecracks don't help.

Bully for you! I am in my late 70's. I depend on these technologies It is expensive but necessary for people of my age. It is obvious from all the majority of texts that all is not well for a sizeable group of users. Six iPhones and three iPads???? …

Why are you still running this article as if all is well! Like 'grossjr',my iPhone is now useless. I have tried all the tweets and 'get arounds' to no avail. The article sounds great, but with a USELESS machine, impaired by BAD programming on Apple'…

'The bigger the grow, the harder they fall', comes to mind. Apple needs to be aware of the pitfall of being too big and outgrowing its potential at all times.

There do appear to be a preponderance of programming nerds commenting on this article. I started off with BASIC over a quarter of a century ago. The logic of 'if X = Y go to line 5, otherwise go to line 7', etc., led me into the later forms of progr…

The more that goes on line the better for those who live far far away in that mysterious place called 'The Rest of the World'.Probably where most of the customers and users are. Can't wait for my iWatch!

I will probably fall in love with it when I get it. I is a beautiful looking watch

I won't comment on the Apple Watch until I have tried one for myself, in a few weeks time, hopefully. I am particularly interested in its medical and physical exercise aspects. Most Apple products expand user experience. The only issue I have with…

Apple TV - Apple TV is an INTERNATIONALLY owned product, just as the rest of Apple's product range. Never mind, but not to exclude Fox, NBC, etc., what, for example about the BBC, ITV, not to mention all the other major providers of TV entertainment…

Anyone thought of having a patent on breathing, or sex maybe? Things move so fast these days, isn't there now a need for a time limit on patents and copyrights? There are so many patents and for such trivial things, it is getting silly. Could you im…

Some of the respondents to this article display a distinctly tribal attitude. It must be difficult to distinguish between those with a genuine concern and the 'Samsungers' and 'Googleistas' in disguise.

For Apple to keep ahead of the game, it has to 'boldly go where no one has gone before'. A difficult trick to pull off, but better, much better than more of the same but better by degrees. Apple has the money to take the risks. It seems to have the …

How sad. I have contributed to the magazine all along. I have a sneaking memory that it was free at one time in the dim and distant past. There was a dip in quality, but In recent times the standards of the magazine had improved greatly and their we…

As Nelson is reputed to have said, whilst raising his telescope to his blind eye,'I see no ships'!

I am just watching - I'm not one of those clever dicks who seem to know everything in retrospect and are good at snide derogatory comments - just watching.

As heterosexual great grandfather myself and also a creative artist, (a field which has a prepondence of gay people in it), I have always sought to defend the rights of my 'gay' friends, even when being gay was a criminal offence in my country, (th…

It's difficult to believe any of the stories we are told about ANY of the competing tablets or similar devices. I suppose the only reasonably accurate indicators are the bottom lines of the various companies concerned, the laurels for which currentl…
