I agree, the new PowerBook is the best thing going right now! The fan is super quiet, you may not be hearing it. I can't say enough about my new 17", I'll be happy with it for a long time

My thing is Apple should make us (the consumer) aware if the line is EOL and its going to be awhile before we see another powerbook. I think it will be this week too. Only time will tell......................

It has to come out this Tuesday, there are no powerbooks anywhere. I really don't think apple wants to piss off the consumer. They probably wanted the new mac mini to shine and then bring out the new powerbooks. To be Honest...... if they don't…
