What about that original Video iPod (such as the 60GB model)? They're not obsolete and from what i gather they have the same hardwear as the newest versions (as in the 80GB model). So where is the search function....? It had better be in the pipe…

the gapless playback is available on all ipod Videos once you have updated. The search function is not... i wish it were

It's alright Blackbird, everyone makes mistakes. But if you've got an Intel Mac, could/have you tried running MacTheRipper? Some people seem to think it works fine on the new chips...

Or you could just get the 60GB video because it has longer battery life. (that was a huge selling point for me)
