Gah, just figured it out, had the ethernet address listed under the MAC filter instead of the airport address (didnt' realize there was a different one for each). All is fine now.

Ok, so I've found that I can connect the ibook to the internet if it's hardwired to the router, but not when it's connected wirelessly. Any suggestions?

Forgive my ignorance, but I swear I heard mention that the 970MP would support 16GB of RAM. If even the top end PM still maxes out at 8GB, on top of the FSB and cache listings, does that mean this can't be dual core? On a side note, why does ap…

In reference to the memory thing, would having a PM with the capability of running 32GB of RAM really depend on whether or not that's even possible at this point? It seems incredibly impractical now, but it could be a huge bonus on the future-pro…

It just froze up! I took out the power cord to take the laptop into the bedroom and everything except the mouse froze. I had to hold the power button until it shut off because nothing would work. WHAT'S GOING ON??!?!?

Would it be feasible for apple to make an all-dual line-up? Instead of having single and dual versions of the 2.0, if that becomes the low end model, why not make the dual 1.8 the low end, then the dual 2.0, dual 2.3 etc. Wouldn't the dual 1.8 be…

Quote: Originally posted by emig647 Again, 2.3, 2.5, 2.8 is most likely what we will see. That seems like big jump in the low end, 1.8 --> 2.3. If IBM can produce anything faster than the 2.5, you think we'd see a bump to 2.0, 2.3, …

That would make it a full year between upgrades. Very unlike apple. They're already more than 2 months behind the average upgrade time.

Check again, the PowerMacs are same day shipping across the board. Have been for about a week.
