My beloved 160 gb ATV1 is mothballed but had a good life for many years, as did my ATV2 that's still connected to a tv in the house but rarely used. Ditto, the ATV3 in my office. For more content and reliability, we finally picked up an Amazon Fire …

The only way I'd buy any new Apple TV (we're cord cutters since 2012) is if it finally has memory and is more of an updated ATV1. That machine rocked. Our ATV2 and 3 mostly sit and gather dust.

It's called "was commercial free and no long is", which was the point of the OP.

The WSJ article states that Apple is working on a channel bundle of 25 select channels for $25-$30/month. That is $1/day, which harkens back to the days of .99 iTunes songs and would be both affordable to most consumers and palatable to even the c…

He could probably achieve what he wanted for less than $200, with just two bridged Airport Express devices.

With more and more consumers cord cutting, determined to never, ever have any relationship again whatsoever with any of the robber baron inept predatory cable providers - looking' at you Comcast, one of the finest services Apple could perform for th…

And you were rewarded for your patience with massive dividends, as well as positioned to see higher ROI on your initial investment. That's how it's supposed to work. The institutional big traders and high speed hedge funds are the ones who've been m…

DuckDuckGo is the way to go.

Plus, my ATV gives me XBMC and more than a few other choice viewing options.

Neatly storing an ATV out of sight without hampering the remote signal is easily achievable. One of our ATV 2s sits on a lower shelf of a floating (wall mounted) media stand, because that tv is up high near the ceiling. However, the other ATV 2 is o…

Only to those always on the race industry prowl. To everyone else - internationally and post-war (for 60 years), it's slang for spy/intel agency.
