So many people on the tech sites saying that it will be proprietary to Apple, thus at once mitigating it and soothing themselves about the lack of competition, this will address that issue, but not in their favor.

Alot of downplay on the introduction of the watch, its just the beginning, it will be an interesting year as all of this plays out.

I recall something being said about that when the public beta started. The updates to the public beta would be much less often, or something to that effect.
