FYI, Clean Up in Photos is still available after I changed the iPad's Region an Language to France/French, this disabling Apple Intelligence. It seems only the features which rely upon analysis of the user data, and therefore would present an unacc…

Thanks for that article. I fully agree: Matter (and therefore HomeKit) compatibility is such a mess. I'm glad I chose to purchase the latest Apple TV with Ethernet (the one with only WiFi does not support Threads) - that makes things a bit easier.

A french outfit has been proposing this for all Apple Silicon Macs for some time. Here it is https://www.sauvemonmac.com/upgrade-ssd Use your favorite translator to translate this into English.

Good luck with Apple Maps. I live in Paris and there are many obvious mistakes. The process of reporting them to Apple is depressing, there is one I had to report 10 times, with screenshots, instructions on how to reproduce the erroe, Waze and Googl…

Why is this article called "macOS Sequoia beta review"? Why not use the same naming rule as the beta-omitting "iOS 18 review"? /s

StrangeDays said: we’re “reviewing” betas now? that doesn’t even make sense Fully agree. The author didn't even put "beta" in the title. "iOS 18 PUBLIC BETA 1 review" would at least be right as a title. The current one is just plain wron…

I had this issue a few months back, and even bought new bulbs, thinking the bulbs were the issue. What solved it for me was to remove th Hue bridge from HomeKit (it had been there for ages) and re-add it. My guess is that the way it integrates into…

"1. Open Apple Music and select an external source, including a HomePod, HomePod mini, AirPlay speaker, or select Bluetooth speaker." You probably mean 'select an external output"

Nice article but it was weird not to see any mention of mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapters. They also work for Thunderbolt 1 or 2, so were available on a lot of HDMI-less Macs, are very cheap, and also carry audio except for the first generations of …

This is still using CarPlay with my voice, even if I pressed on a screen or button to invoke it. Misleading title :-(

I don't know if that's an Amazon or ESR mistake, but I guess Apple won't be too happy about it. I wouldn't be surprised if these new iPads were announced today.

So, ipadOS 17.5 beta tells about new iPad models. It teases zero about OLED displays in them. Bas, clickbait title.

Voice isolation and wide spectrum are not an iPhone 15 Pro -only feature - I have them on my iPhone XS Max.
