One question: is the MacBook attached to the BookBook or does it just sit in it?
-
Looks like the CPU and graphics scores have been switched :-)

Nice results. But since there are different GPU (and CPU) configurations for M1 Pro, M1 Max, M2 Pro and M2 Max, I am not sure what to do with these scores. We only have info for the M2 Pro. And since the CPUs are exactly the same for the "full" M2 …

I updated by HomePod minis to 16.3 beta and they can say the temperature. But it does not yet appear on my iPhone and Macs running non beta software, including in a 3rd party app So the limitation seems hardcoded in the HomeKit somewhere else. Ther…

From the relase notes, what is new is the ability to set up recurring automations via voice. Like "Hey Siri, close the living room blinds at 5:30pm every day"

IMHO the better comparison is the mini M2 Pro with 12 CPU cores and 19 GPU cores versus the base Mac Studio with M1 Max 10 CPU cores and 24 GPU cores, both with 32 GB of RAM, and they are at the exact same price. Mac Studio seems a better deal to me.

Not mentioned in the article but obvious with the photo of the controller, this standing desk has memories/height presets. This is IMHO a must-have - I once had a standing desk (in an office, not my choice) that had no memories or even height displa…

"Haiku B4 is compatible with most modern and older hardware including most Intel and Apple Siliconsystems, Macs, PCs and ARM-based computers" I could only din compatibility with Intel/AMD 32 and 64bit. Is there really Apple Silicon/ARM compatibility…

Crashes at launch on my iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 (cellular, 1TB). :-(

I am a bit confused. It seems to me that external display support has been here forever for iPads. I believe the new thing is external display support with Stage Manager, which is a big deal, and could be called "full" external display support.

dasjetta said: Why can’t they add HDR10+ to the older AppleTV streamers? You don’t need the A15 for that. I agree. We still have a chance of it coming later, maybe even on November 4, when the new Apple TV is available.

Thanks. Since I had not heard of Causeway, I checked in the TV app. It is a movie, not a series. To be released next week, November 4. So the title is a bit wrong :-)

HDR10+ does not replace HDR10. It is an additional supported format. HDR10 is till supported o, the 2022 Apple TV.

Received mine.It feels like a quality product - even the packaging does. And my iPhone (XS Max plus a MagSafe sticker from Sinjimoru) seems secured to the rop of my 2021 16" MacBook Pro. A very pleasant surprise.Plus Camo now supports wifi connection…

I had an Archer 802.11ac touter (same look as the one in the article) and it was a mess. Including firmware updates that slowed it down. Moved to an Asus WiFi 6 router and am very satisfied. Had excellent experiences with Deco P9 though, which I re…

Same with AirPods Max.

That is a very strange titles, describing only half of what's in the article. Why Wesley?

It would be nice, in the article and in the video, to be clear about whether the Mac Studios are M1 Max or M1 Ultra, since the M1 Ultra have a much beefier cooling system/ I think the video is about M1 Max, which is the least relevant comparison.

2 remarks: - image settings are usually specific to the color mode (SDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision on ly 2018 LG OLED for example), so your TV probably has stupid Dolby Vision settings - inputs on the HDMI Hue Sync box are not equal - it's mentioned in the …
