Interesting sample. You hear a lot about Apple supposedly going downhill and Android taking over for the next generation of smartphones, but this proves otherwise. Apple is doing very well, despite Steve Jobs' death.

Plastic just seems very cheap to me, no matter how you beat around the bush. I could never have imagined Apple to make a plastic iPhone, alongside the 5S.

Are the new cooling systems quieter as well? My late-2010 MacBook Pro 13" has fans that can be really loud, but only when playing CPU intensive games like Diablo 3.

The MacBook is gone forever. The MacBook Air sort of took it's place as the "economy" Apple laptop, but it's very possible that it will be renamed to just "MacBook", as lightweight devices slowly become more of an expected standard in the industry.
