Of course, the iPad may eventually support multi-tasking, it may just be that they want to announce it first on the iPhone in June... I'm hoping. That's not to say that multi-tasking is _that_ important to me, just occasionally I'd like the option t…

Windows 7 works fine here with the drivers shipped on the Snow Leopard disk (for Vista). Not sure what WPLJ42's problem is (beyond a broken return key, clearly). Windows generally requires you to install drivers for it to work with your hardware …

I highly doubt we'll see Apple doing advertisement-subsidised products - it's the oposite end of the price range from the market Apple is usually in, and not a move that would make Apple customers happy.

I'd say on the whole O2 have been pretty good. I'd like more coverage and more speed, but I've never been too frustrated with them.

Onlive claim they've solved the lag problem, but we'll see. Obviously, there's no way this would be suitable for phone networks, which can easily have latency in 2-5 seconds. The other issue is obvious controls. I'd guess that OnLive are just dem…

Sounds like a pretty junior position, I wouldn't read too much into it. If they were hiring well known designers or developers, I'd suggest they were up to something, but this just could be replacing an existing position or slightly expanding their …

I'm hoping there's a mac mini upgrade soon, and hopefully a reduction in price here in the UK as it's currently over $100 more here (taking sales tax into account!)

I might be willing to pay £3/$5 a month for access to a good quality 'paper' with video etc.

I had one fail on a late 2007 MacBook Pro, not mounting some disks and having a hard time reading DVDs (skipping etc). Took it to the Apple Store (Regents Street, London) and the genius said that it was "just a matter of when, not if." The replac…

If they wanted, they could open this to podcasts etc too, which would be interesting. There's no real reason the same concept (perhaps different content) couldn't work on the iPhone. AppleTV should be possible too...
