I don't think AirPods have anything to do with AirPlay 2 - AirPods are Bluetooth, while AirPlay 2 is over WiFi. Bluetooth is I think just point-to-point, so I don't think it supports (at least for audio) splitting like that.

Does it also come with a free bowl of soup?

One interesting thing is that I didn't see AppleTV under any of the main tabs at the top of the screen (even if you drill down into the pages for Mac, iPhone, etc.). There is a link for it at the bottom of the page, but nothing up at the top.

From Game-Labs: Quote: Spielberg’s "Schindler's List" did not try to amend his movie to look more comfortable. The historical "Gettysburg" movie (1993) is still on iTunes. We believe that all historical art forms: books, movies, or games such as o…

Not to get into the Google/Apple TOS details, but the Flickr/ Yahoo! weather app integration is opt-in - you have to submit your photo for review explicitly. So that example really doesn't come into play.

I'd have to agree that Apple has to be feeling pretty good after a relatively lackluster Google I/O keynote. But they also recently dodged another potential bullet in Spotify's recent announcement, which I thought was also not very impressive. Apple…

Off-topic, but the Mac mini is also listed on the Apple store with the "New" tag. Is that a left-over or did they get some kind of a bump? I don't remember any mention of desktop Macs at all in the event today.

Looks like the highest-priced watch is $17000 for the 38mm rose or yellow gold with modern buckle. Interestingly enough, the most expensive 42mm watch is $15000.

I'm guessing that there will be some overhaul of Apple's music offerings coming soon, in particular doing something more with Beats Radio (and hopefully the Swell podcast "radio" app they purchased a while back). So perhaps iTunes Match will be twea…

Quite a lot of angst in here over a few rumored seats.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 starts at $1500, on sale for $1300. That's about $200-$400 more expensive than the equivalent MacBook Air. I guess you are paying the Lenovo tax here?

Worked just fine at Home Depot yesterday, which does have the standard wireless pay symbol but nothing Apple Pay specific showing. Interestingly, Apple Pay does have an email address associated with my card, and Home Depot does offer to email the r…

This is great news for me - I do Windows software development, and I use OneNote as my personal notebook at the office. I think it's one of the few Microsoft releases that actually works and works well (as opposed to the slow bloatware that is Offic…
