  • Out of curiosity, how much space would it have required to insert a second speaker?
  • Here's an original: how about allowing the consumer to choose between glossy and matte screens? Not everyone likes to stare into the reflecting glare of the sun.
  • I'm surprised the arguing has gone on for this long. Arguing with a person on an internet discussion forum is like arguing with a wall. You won't convince anybody to admit when they are wrong, and the majority of times you can't convince them to s…
  • Regarding numerous posts about beta testers needing to be a paying developer, keep in mind that Apple also uses AppleSeed testers to test these minor (and major) releases. So when writes write about developers getting a new seed, often times regula…
  • I believe the RAM is soldered to the motherboard. My recommendation is if you don't absolutely need the MBA, wait until SSD prices go down. For most people, 2 GB is enough. If you require more, then wait for the second generation MBA.
  • Nevermind, I think I fixed it. Normal.dotm was in my Microsoft User Data folder in my Documents folder. I deleted it (lucky guess!) and it seems to have fixed the problem. What's up with the long time to start Word 2008 now? It takes quite a b…
  • There comes a point where a phone becomes too small and too skinny to comfortably hold in your hands. I would rather see more stuff crammed into the next iPhone than see the phone get thinner. 3G, 16-24GB memory, VOICE DIALING, etc.
  • I don't think so. I think the iPhone uses its own SIM card (that has a marker in it to let the iPhone know it's an original iPhone SIM).
  • For me, Safari crashes so much and is so buggy that I sometimes think I am using a Windows computer. Yes, I am serious. Not a night goes by without Safari crashing at least once. What makes it even worse is that often I do not receive a prompt …

  • Considering how infrequently Apple updates the processors of the current MacBooks and MacBooks Pro, I doubt we'll see a MacBook Air update in as little as 5 months from the original release. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not going to happ…
  • I'm curious how much additional battery life the SSD will provide. I'm approaching 55 GB of data on my current PowerBook. If I buy a MacBook Air, I will need to get the 80 GB disk drive just to ensure I have enough space for future music, movies…
  • Kephisto, only one update so far has added new features. The other two updates were bug fixes. I guess I shouldn't complain. Tiger averaged 2 months between updates. Given the iPhone has been out for 6 months now, 3 updates would be on par wit…

  • Actually, a Bluetooth coffee maker that could interface with iCal would be awesome. Imagine being able to set it for different times on different days. I would love to see more appliances have Bluetooth functionality.

  • Kephisto, my motive is clear. I do a lot of international work overseas and would prefer to use an unlocked SIM card while traveling overseas in countries in Africa where AT&T has no established presence. I am a happy AT7t customer, and even i…
