It's likely that legislation will not be passed until 2009 at the earliest given the time a bill takes to be drafted, debated, etc.

Currently there are no viruses or trojans in the wild, but that doesn't mean one won't happen sometime. It's going to happen. The question isn't if, but when. It depends on how you want to play the game. I don't have any AV software installed on…

I would love to see voice dialing. Also, I would love to see the option to move the "Slide to Answer" or "Slide to Unlock" switch to the top of the screen. When I'm holding the iPhone in my right hand and try to unlock the phone to answer a call…

They are referring to pence, not pounds. International roaming is around 6 pounds per megabyte -- about $15 US.

I think a hybrid SSDD/traditional hard disk would be best for those of us who need a lot of disk space. 32 GB of SSDD space for our most used programs, and 64-100 GB of traditional disk space for music, video, and applications that we do not use fr…

Carbon fibre? Now that would be super sweet!! Seriously, that think would take a beating and still survive unscathed. Here's hoping that a miracle will happen and we can get >64 GB of solid state disk space. It's not a necessity, but it wou…

When I checked for the update, it says 1.1.1 is the current version. What gives?

I think it was a corrupted iDisk or bug in Leopard/iDisk sync service. A folder named FileSync that had a file named "username_iDisk.sparsebundle" was listed as 110 GB. I deleted that file, rebooted, turned off iDisk syncing and I now have disk …

I don't think 3G iPhones are coming at MWSF. I think this is especially true given AT&T's recent investment in the 850 MHz spectrum. Apple is probably going to hold out on 3G until AT&T establishes data service in this spectrum.

It's not that sluggish on a 1.8 GHz G5 either. Some people want instantaneous results. Personally waiting a split second for a slit delay doesn't bother me.

I thought Leopard was supposed to include the ability to edit calendar events online with .Mac? Also, why is my iCal calendar not listed on the main .Mac page when I log in? If I click the calendar icon next to the calendar shown, it gives me a …

Now for some reason my "Work" calendar has corrupt data, even when published separately. This calendar was previously working well. Anyone else experience this bug in the migration process to Leopard?

I tried that, but it's saying the calendar has corrupt data and cannot be displayed.

I'll let you know over the weekend. I have a 12" PB G4 1.5 GHz and will install Leopard on it this weekend.
