Make it work when my MacBook Pro is in clamshell and you have my attention. Lost the simple ability to move my cursor to my iPad when I moved from a Mac mini M1 to a MacBook Pro M2. Argh.

Well thank dog you didn't link us to the page because that would be helpful.

I completely agree. The vibe was off, it felt long, there were no hooks in the writing, and Mother Nature was unlikable rather than powerful. Compare this to the outstanding EIGHT minute Find My piece done just before the writer's strike.

This has been going on for a week in Toronto. Still happening.

"In error" is the new beta testing of potentially bad ideas that then soon morph into gaslighting the slightly less bad idea that's still terrible.

I tried loving this app for years but in the end went back to Mail because I was missing too many important emails because of how Spark handles threads. Basically, if your most recent email is an ongoing back and forth, and you leave that thread sel…

I'm in the midst of full-on recovery, installing Monterey on a USB stick because the 12.2 beta today blew a hole in my M1 mini and is stuck "Examining volumes" in recovery mode.

I had deleted the 13.1 profile and got no watch update. Reinstalled the profile and the watch update immediately appeared. Didn’t have to reinstall 13.1.

How was this ever a thing they thought they could do? Stunning.

Ya, Louis is gonna go cave on this issue. AS HE SHOULD. Apple is doubling down on the closed system, high profit, upper-middle class strategy. 30 years with Apple but I now resort to buying used, and modding my 2010 12-core Mac Pro (and still gettin…

Wide, yes, within the range between "Distorted priorities" and "Celebrity Lawyer."

The positioning is great: High-quality audio, and by the way it has a personal assistant (the competition did it the opposite way). Except that the "by the way" part is terrible (so far?) in comparison. The price will be fine when Siri is better and…

Just to recap: Dimmer switch. $100.

Hopefully this will fix the dismal battery life and inaccurate battery icon/percent that Beta 4 introduced.

Well, the Apple logo is way better.
