The store was up for a while and I did see displayport > DVI adapters, so I'd assume they'll offer a whole suite of adapters for us previous-gen mbp owners.

Rose is a tool who just throws enough spaghetti against the wall, hoping something sticks. Remember, he's the same guy who said he had seen and used the iPhone a few months before it came out - and he said it had a slide out keyboard and 2 batte…

IF they had not planned ahead and made mail access work via desktop apps / iPhone, I'd be pissed about this switchover. As it stands though, I can live with this as long as it's sorted out sometime today, which I imagine it will be.

No, it's most definitely 10.5.3. Very odd, eh?

Just like that version of the iPhone he said he saw with the slide out keyboard & 2 batteries? http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/12/03...om-kevin-rose/ The digg guys are tools, I wouldn't listen to a word he has to say.

Maybe it's the Ron Paul blimp?

I also hope they fix the UI inconsistency in Leopard (inactive iTunes windows are the same color as active ones, as opposed to a lighter shade as with other apps), but I'm not counting on it.

I just pray searching over networks is improved. (non-Macintosh networks that is). Spotlight is garbage when searching a windows or linux fileserver.

I'd assume the top secret features are coming alongside the .Mac widgets.

The bigger news is how soul-crushing this will be for those who argue x.x.10 releases aren't possible.

I wonder how much it's going to cost? I'm looking to replace my aging phone - and the RAZR is a cool, sleek phone ... but I'm not sure it's worth what the original RAZR even costs at this point. I guess you pay for the form factor.

You should change the title to reflect the speculation in this thread.

Anytime you gauge a release by the feedback on a forum, you're in for trouble. How many people are going to drop by and say "I updated, it's great!"? Most people come round here to bitch and moan that x feature doesn't work correctly, when you s…

I personally think the UI in Tiger is light years faster on my G5 and on my Powerbook.

.Mac sync alone is worth it to me ... but I do admit 250mb is pathetic, along with what has become pretty poor service. I'm hoping to see something big announced before my year is up, or I won't renew either.
