Sorry, I'm a "jerk" and a "troll" for simply pointing out a redundant word? I apologise for being a little fed up of England taking second place to America with regards to her language... and I'm Scottish.

I'm not really sure the "[British]" addition was really necessary for the English dictionary. After all, there's a reason the language is called English.

This is one of those things that really get to me. You're paying for the right to watch the programme, listen to the music, etc. In the UK, a new Blu-ray film might cost £12. Get in double play (Blu-ray and DVD) for the exact same film, £15. Buy …

I don't think our CEO even knows these things existed. Allegedly, he was out on a golf course and asked if anyone knew the football (soccer) score. Someone pulled out a BB and told him. He didn't know you could get web enabled phones so suddenly all…

The mobile version is very welcome. I plan to get an iPad shortly, and this will not be very helpful on site. However, you MUST have a network connection to use it as there's no local storage, or iDisk support. You have to use their website to store…

What's the betting that they also drop PowerPC support? Unless they improve the speed of Places (and maybe Faces), then I don't think it'll be one for my iMac G5.

It's a shame that only the black is available, I think white would look best on the black iPhone, the other colours only really make sense on the white (not shipping for a while) iPhone. I wonder if that was so that they could more easily ramp up…

How is a stopper inside going to stop your body shorting the gap between the two antennas?

I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if the update comes out today. What I think is more likely is that Jobs announces the update, and then tells us how many they've sold along with high customer satisfaction so we're all to stop whining now.

I think the bigger thing here is apple are offering direct downloads to the OS from the device. Before we would have had to connect to iTunes.

Meanwhile in the UK, you can only pre-order through the Apple store at the moment, and only a full priced unlocked iPhone (£500 for 16GB, £600 for 32GB). There's nowhere to get one on contract at the moment!
