Personally I am not against the share buybacks as it could be viewed as useful support against AAPL share softness on occasion. My preference is that the proportions are adjusted towards a higher dividend of 1.5% vs. The effective 0.5% currently. S…

Rest of Asia Pacific: +20.1% ($6.4B → $7.7B) - Strongest growth This is very very very exciting and will play out over the years to come. India, Indonesia and the rest will likely rival China as a market segment in the medium term. Services at 75.6%…

India, Indonesia and a few other markets like them have huge potential for Apple. Looks like TC’s strategy is paying off. Very cool.

Silly question - is the current update cadence for MacBooks well mapped to peoples buying patterns? I have a MacBook Pro M1Max and I am still super delighted with it. The M5 keeps catcalling me so I figure I will have to upgrade but I really do not …

The narrative does not address the root cause for why Apple is where it is at the moment. Siri was groundbreaking when it launched and it seems like some of the execs at Apple just dont get it. My money is on Craig being one of them given how the so…

A better partner for Apple would be xAi with Grok. They currently appear to be iterating faster than the rest and also have a lower user base than the rest which may mean that they are more open for the massive distribution that Apple could offer.

I dont think he is right about an M5 version of the existing Vision Pro form factor this year. Borderline clickbait. Why only update the SoC of a low volume form factor where the SoC is not the main gripe from users? If there is an updated Vision Pr…

Johny Srouji and the team are GOATed. Honestly just knock it out of the park year on year for so long. I cant imagine how hard this must be to continuously do.

Absolutely loved the haptic trailer and super clever and novel use of the tech. For me this is Apple at its best. Clever, elegant and cool. Hopefully we see more of this

Personally I think Apple is playing with fire and for most production use cases are way way behind or irrelevant in AI. I use Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT and Grok (plus local models with the outstanding Apple MLX framework running on the beautiful M se…

They may be played around with under clocked ultras to test how far they can push thermal envelopes. Stranger experiments have happened. Personally I wouldn’t mind a steampunk inspired luggable MacBook Pro with a future M5 Ultra. Make it glow.

My credit card is ready. Gimme. Updated Apple TV, HomePods and more would be amazing. It is a neglected area and should be a first class iCloud citizen.

I would have preferred a much stronger increase in dividends than stock buybacks as Apple has burned 400+ billion on reducing outstanding shares with just 12%. Likely their buyback program does provide some minor price support during dips and they…

Tim is the master of supply chains. This is really good news and very fast acting as well. Incredible!

Politics aside - having geographic distribution of chip production is essential as to not have a freak natural disaster kick us back into the Stone Age if most chips are manufactured in one small location.
