I forgot to include this link (not the only one) as evidence of adoption by firms of the iPhone:- http://www.careerjournal.com/hrcente...wingfield.html

This is the usual weak UBS stuff we've been reading for years. They nearly always get it wrong, and at best only partially right. They've been underestimating Apple's potential for longer than I can remember. His 'revision' of 15 million iPhones so…

solipsism, right you are! If people think they're going to get a nand-based, touch-screen iPod, then they're living in cloud-cuckoo land. It would be prohibitively expensive. As you say, it'll be HDD-based and the top model will have around 100 …

solipsism, right! That's something that's always annoyed me. A 'target price' without any sort of time reference is totally irrelevant!

The so-called 'analysts for Piper Jaffray' are playing their usual play-it-safe game, so whatever happens they can always cover themselves. I mean it's pathetic! Of course there's an 80% chance of a new iMac coming this summer - at least 80%! …

Probably mid, or late, next week.[/QUOTE] Thanks, but as I do shift work in a hospital, I was wondering about the exact date so I can arrange to get the evening (I'm in Berlin) free. The sooner I get it, the easier it is to swop duties.

Does anybody know date this month for the June quarter results?

Thankyou, a very good test report. I read in another article about someone taking an iPhone to work and his colleagues being so impressed that they ALL said they were going to buy one. This thing is going to be huge!

Whoops! I meant 'paid' of course not 'payed' in my last post.

He's a plant. He's being payed by Microsoft, and he's been instructed not to wash for four days, pee in his pants, and behave as obnoxiously as possible. The stink is going go put off anybody else from standing in line, and discredit the whole iPho…

I love this stuff! Although I'm getting on in years and am concerned about a lot of much more important world events, for me this week is going to be just the iPhone. I've got a feeling of excitement that I haven't experienced since I was a sm…

The hype is getting so hot that it's turning into a sort of exponential-hype mode; which in turn, if not kept under control, could turn into black-hole hype, which would then suck all matter into another dimension, probably into the dreaded Jobs Rea…

melgross, if you drink as much as me and MacSuperiority do, then it's no problem!

It's strange how Apple play down the LED feature. It's really difficult to find it mentioned anywhere. I think this is a very good update though, and it's new 'thinness' will add even more elegance when seen in the flesh.

OK, try 'faithful' with one 'L'

The European Comission had better weigh its words and actions carefully. They're dealing with a special group here - the European Apple faithfull. If they don't play fair we shall storm their citadels in Brussels and Strasbourg and DESTROY THEM!

I'm yet another one waiting for a mid-range Mac. I've just bought a very nice 22-inch Fujitsu Siemens monitor and it's being driven by a G4 Mac mini, but I'd love to have a Mac with better graphics and more speed. I'll never buy a Mac Pro or an i…

... but if it does get 'put down', buy one quickly on the cheap, use it as a second computer or media-centre and then you might even make a small profit in the future when you sell it, because they might well become collector-items.
