Couldn’t disagree any harder! It was a brilliantly, lighthearted, way to talk about something very serious and generally bone dry to discuss.

I feel the 10 seconds delay is very short. Chances are I want to try to unbuckle my seatbelt or get out of the car or check other passengers first. And you wouldn’t want people just deactivating it quickly so that they can actually hear others, and …

Makes sense why they’d do it

@Happy_Noodle_Boy Thanks! But presumably the first scenario still applies so?

“If the AirTag owner is apart from their device for around three days, the AirTag will make a sound. The idea is that the sound will alert a non-iPhone user to the existence of the tracking device, and hopefully help them locate it.”This is the bit…

Wait - isn’t Apple based in Ireland??? Yes! And yet there isn’t even an Apple Store in Dublin (or the Republic at all). But there IS one in Belfast, a city 1/4 of the size and only 300,000 population. I’ve always wondered if there was s…

I really wanted to buy 2 or 3 of these. I was waiting until they became available in Ireland, but which weren’t yet due to.......Siri specifics, presumably. 🤷🏻♂️ Even though I’d say that’s very much a minority use (and even more so given my experie…

Not available in Ireland yet. It would be nice if articles such as this could include aspects such as this, and why that might be.

About time. I’ve been using Revolut as a workaround as I’m a Bank of Ireland customer.

I LOVE the look of this phone. The square edges were always my favourite - I always felt all iPhones since were a backwards design step. Colours, however - who cares? They only matter for the 3 minutes until you put it into a protective case. I’m…

Apple’s own website doesn’t yet mention cycling directions anywhere other than the above.

I’m in Dublin. I’ve just checked and I now have lookaround but not cycling directions.

In Ireland (ROI) it’s at 1,613,000 app registrations as of this morning - after 4 weeks. That’s about half of the likely smartphone population (say 15-75 years old). Additional new registrations seem to be at about 8,000 per day.
