Always nice to know that your financial needs are in the hands of 30 year old code. But of course the Canadian tax system still programs in COBOL.

Maybe because Apple users do not want to touch any Google product with a 50 foot pole.

I just do not see this, Steve was such a fan of keeping the company focused. Disney has its fingers in to many pies for Steve.

I was a user of the Mac IIfx, $9,000 and $12,000, and at the time it was an incredible machine. I think a high end RasterOps video card at the time was between $6,000 and $10,000. This is what was needed to work on complex Photoshop images at a dece…

I bought a Mac 128 and ImageWriter in my last year of high school. I had no complaints at all, it got me through English that year and was a great help with many assignments. It was a vast improvement over the VIC 20s and Commodore 64s my friend…

Still love my 3rd gen.

Now if an updated MacBook would get a Thunderbolt port instead of USB-C. It would make it the ultimate light portable that could still get a big performance gain.

I think the MacBook will stick with Intel for a while yet. When Apple finally does release Macs with there own chipset inside they will need a clear branding strategy to separate the two families of computers. They could move the Air moniker to t…

Nice to see some people actually looking things up before commenting. Canada and the US have had a good trading system going since the initial free trade deal. It was definitely due for some tweaking but the kind or rhetoric that has been being toss…

Hoping ONKYO jumps on board soon.

And soon enough they will be using the same processors.

I do find it interesting that all of these analysts talk about upgrade cycles. If Apple chooses not to sell anyone a car, but make cars a service under their eco system, they then have total control of how long their cars stay on the road. Design…
