The 12" Retina Macbook with no significant updates was a nail in the coffin for Mac sales this year. People have other choices now, like the new HP Spectre that sports multiple USB-C ports and is just as thin.

Another solution is for Apple to add a new user passcode feature that sets the iPhone to disable touch ID and require a passcode sooner than 48 hours. Perhaps a 30 minute, 1 hour, 3 hour, 5 hour and 12 hour option?

What if your phone is locked, encrypted, and you refuse to comply? Will NYPD need the help of Cellebrite to access that data? What if your phone is in CarPlay mode? Can you not use hands-free Siri to dictate text messages while driving?

I downgraded back to Yosemite a month ago after trying out El Capitan for several months. I lost too many business-related features to justify the change, and Apple never seemed to address those bugs. I'm happy to live in the past for now.
