Capitalization aside, the new name makes it sound like Apple is going back to Classic. The name "Mac OS" was previewed in 7.5 (1995) and made official in 7.6 (1997) with Mac clones. From 10.0 through 10.6 "Snow Leopard", it was "Mac OS X". Only star…
