I use NordVPN... maybe it’s time to have it always on. FYI Many antivirus programs these days include VPN services. I’ll have to do some research into who doesn’t log and sell the data though...

All you need to know: Luxshare will manufacture iPhones in Vietnam to diversify production.

I can understand the complaint... but I just dump the preinstalled App’s in a folder and forget about them. I don’t get solicitations through email or text. I don’t use iTunes and infrequently try ‘free’ apps, which (I think) is where this adware …

AI doesn’t give a clear description. Here’s the previous ‘rumor’ in the quotes below. What Apple is actually up to...who knows until it’s released. I’m thinking Tiles + AR (mapping). I’m ‘hearing’ regular bad behavior from Apple with regards to t…

Apple can say hello to lawsuits for pulling competitors apps, while developing a competing product (on this one). Also, considerable antitrust scrutiny... Not sure why Apple is going down this road, unless they figure the App Store is going to be …

ISP’s certainly benefits, but... Doesn’t Netflix pay ISP’s for this ability? Does Apple?

These reports are odd. The iPhone 12’s design should have been finalized by now. Apple has an antenna that worked with Intel. Qualcomm has their stock antenna, which Apple has licensed along with the chip. The report is saying that Qualcomm’s an…

I didn’t buy into to Samsung being harmed by the corona virus as munch as other Android manufacturers, but I absolutely do with China cell phone manufacturers and Huawei in particular. The only pushback I’ll offer is Huawei is diversified, and a ke…

I’ve had Siri disabled on my devices since it was released. But, what use case is Siri inferior to Alexa on a smart speaker? It’s no like you’re having it do dictation.

This sounds like what Netflix did, except Netflix was eating the Apple Tax rather than customers (if I remember correctly). Eventually it will only be the little devs and micro-payments going through Apple. I wonder if Apple is ever going to do so…

My understanding is when China says restart, then the factories will be back in business. Until then, it’s just wishful thinking... The only thing Foxconn can tell you is the progress of moving production outside of China.
