Greetings Healthy Ones, I went to the New York Times and WSJ and such and the paywall is there with a week free trial then subscribe for $$$$$. Did I misread something? Thank you. Patrick

Money beats Ethics everytime. Will Apple then become complicit in arrests for 'thought-crimes' and 'political sabotage' and such? Following the Orwellian mandate of '1984' this makes me nauseated and Apple can't put enough sweet paint on it to mak…

Tiring this is, your incessant desire to politicize this website. You will lose us if you keep this up. If we want politics and fake news and such, we can watch CNN or Fox or whatever. Please, make this a pleasant site for dedicated Apple users. …

Come on, folks. Civil Discourse here. Take the higher ground. If you can't unload the emotional attachment to your feelings when you write, then, step back, take a breath, wait till later, etc. Just be the best you can be when discussing this ma…

Brian Chafin recently summarized the theory behind some of this as taken from a Bloomberg article. He discusses it in a recent podcast. I recommend it for all, esp. for those who are emotional-thinkers only. It is very enlightening and non-partis…

You must have a Breathalyzer app, right?

Not anything that should affect an install, IMHO. Consider restarting in SafeBoot and trying the installer again. I hope that helps.

Greetings: Did you find your screw? Ace Hardware as well as Home Depot have a category of Specialty Hardware which includes stainless steel items and you might find it there. Don't give up.

Let us know how you like the MBPro 13" w/out Touchbar. Does it run XCode well enough? I've been interested as well in this one, but consider the Touchbar to be less useful for the long term, IMHO. It looks like fun and like something that may nee…

I don't like them either and just discovered that, if an ad begins automatically, there will show a 'speaker-sound' icon on the Safari tab. One can click that to shut up the ad. Try that. ~

Greetings and welcome to Mac I feel your pain for battery time for my Mac and iPhone and iPad etc. There are parameters, though, that make for more rapid use of battery resources, like you know. Browser: Google Chrome uses more resources in my ha…

Nice review and thank you. Concerned about 'legacy' USB ports on back- 5 MBPS speed so not true USB 3.1 as we know it now. Do we have a 2013 Macpro?: Monitor will only run 4K in Thunderbolt 2 config I believe. That's a slight to technology. Glossy …

I run my Mac Pro and Macbook Pro with SIP disabled so I can use Xtrafinder.

BuffyzDead I like your stance, however, I must share w you that Gatekeeper and System Integrity Protection are two different scenarios. SIP is enabled or disabled via the Command Line only. But, I enjoyed your post. Patrick MacOvation
