That would be great but not what the article is saying.

I was also thinking $2000 was a little too high, but Apple seems to be doing well with its significantly higher priced Mac lineup. When you see a Windows PC comparably equipped to a $2000 Macbook Pro you can usually find it for $1000-1200. They ha…

Is it just me or was that graphic comparing the Apple TV to a standard TV package a little rediculous? $150 for a blu-ray player, 0% chance the Apple TV has any kind of similar feature. $300 for a DVR plus monthly fees (only if you're using TiVo). …

It makes sense that they would be holding them for an upcoming ad...I remember them doing this with the Wii on many occasions around the holiday season a few years ago. I guarantee they can't get anywhere close to enough stock from Apple to keep up…

Thanks for the info. I just checked on my C2D with 2GB MB Pro and even though I don't notice a slowdown, when looking in activity monitor the cpu usage spikes as well as memory usage. That kinda sucks

Well, I guess Safari is using over 200MB of memory while its open so that takes my available memory below 20MB, so maybe I would benefit from a ram upgrade but everything runs fine as long as there is no flash based apps on the page so it may be a w…

Ok, thanks that actually helped me find it. It's Safari almost 95% CPU usage. And after I restarted it, it seems that it only happens when there is a flash based application on the webpage. Is the G4 really not powerful enough to handle flash? I …

I have only had my current iPhone 3G for 8 months and the apple store says I qualify for the standard 199/299 pricing with an $18 upgrade fee. Then I went in to Best Buy and was told AT&T would even waive the upgrade fee. So evidently even tho…

So do the current macbook pros with 802.11n cards work with the 5ghz spectrum or do you need special hardware?

I couldn't agree more with this part of your post: "1. There's no "Best Buy" stuff to be loaded on to Apple machines. 2. If they're doing an in-store setup on it, they're doing a few things. They're registering the machine for you, startin…
