I watch baseball on MLB TV and Apples ads there are absolutely intolerable. I usually just suffer through the ads, but Apple's, I have to mute. I've never watched a game on Apple+ and probably never will just because of their ads. As a long time Ap…

JWSC said: Everyone here is bitching about market economics that are ultimately self correcting. One bitches about Comcast being a monopoly but, in SF Sonic is beating them on cost. Another bitches about Comcast and then moves to AT&T. …

I have Ring cameras outside. I'd never allow one inside my house. I just always assume whatever is visible by them is public. I'd like to think the comments from Ring spokesperson Yassi Shahmir, were true and non-evasive, but in this day and age t…

Carmakers just don't care - until one of them needs to do this to differentiate itself, perhaps to do lagging sales, then others will have to catch up. There may be hope in Tesla. It's now selling more high end luxury vehicles than anyone else i…

I find it hard to believe that anyone finds the ATV remote acceptable. For me it's horrible, by far the worst thing about ATV. It alternates between the swipe action not working at all to being oversensitive (seems to depend on moisture level fing…

I've been a CR online subscriber for years. I often don't agree with their assessments, but I think it's important that someone do this sort of independent testing and they are the only option. So, I support them with my subscription. That said,…

I'd be pleased to just get a weather report that is useful. Sure, it's going to be 60 and sunny, but she won't tell you the wind is going to blow 30MPH. She also doesn't give things like winter storm warnings. How about integrating with maps an…

3rd Party Maps support is a must. I drive a Chevy Bolt EV and allowing charging locations to be route planned, either in a 3rd party app or, better, to have the data integrated into Apple Maps would be huge. Also the Bolt has WifI, so why the heck…

I have a Bolt with CarPlay. It pretty ironic that it has a wireless charging port, but requires wired CarPlay. Of course the wireless charging isn't iPhone compatible so it's a moot point, sigh. At any rate, I would love wireless CarPlay so I can…

I worked at AOL when AIM started up. I knew the guy that wrote the server side. He was a absolutely brilliant programmer. Back in the day, AOL never kept any conversation logs of AIM, at all. This was so they wouldn't have to go search through t…

This was mentioned on an the Airline Pilot Guy podcast a few months ago. They seem to think the reason was that most of the pilots already had an iPad at home were comfortable with the UI and this significantly effects training cost and usability. …

How many abandoned mobile platforms does this make for MS? Is it any wonder developers want nothing to do with them? They have the money and smarts to do mobile right. They apparently don't have the vision or patience to do though. It's sort of …

It's about time. The DVR function as been available on Amazon Fire and Roku for months ( I have all three, don't ask why). I really prefer ATV and it was a pain switching around between devices.

Mail does indeed suck. And it's not just lacking features. It crashes so much I've given up sending crash reports. Just please don't make it Outlook Jr. Hopefully they replace this guy with someone how actually cares about mail.
