I'm personally kind of disappointed that they released the intel iMac as an iMac, I was hoping they'd change the name to Macintosh (an all-in-one design just like the original macintosh!) and call the PowerMacs something like Macintosh Pro

I forgot to mention that you need to either log out and then back in again after you have entered that command into the terminal or force quit the dock/dashboard.

Yes, crontab is in fact disabled in 10.4, you can enable it if you'd really like to but it is being deprecated for a much better system, launchd. Check out /System/Library/LaunchDaemons
