Better than fair, but not quite excellent. How about 7 out of 10. G4/400 PowerMac 256M, and G3/466 iBook SE 320M, mostly IE, iTunes, iMovie, some games. Also a lot of Office and Photoshop under Classic, but I'm waiting anxiously for the arriva…

Works just fine. I use a G4/400 at home, and G4/450 Cube at work, OS X 10.1.2 on both. I've got no complaints about the performance. But I do have one problem with the G4/400, it is nearly 3 years old and has only the Rage 128 ATI graphics car…

Memory is what is lacking in these new machines. No DDR, still only 1.5GB max. These _have_ to be short-lived. Here's my theory - there is no G5, Motorola can't make it work. But Apple had a new mobo design with DDR etc. ready to go for the G5. …
