I believe iCloud can’t support Scrivener’s complex data format. If you use an iPhone for some of your writing, the problem with Pages is that it doesn’t have a mobile mode. The text is too small to work with. iA Writer is great on all devices.

There’s no solution here for non-fiction print, which requires an index. The only (Mac) apps that will produce an index are Word, Nisus, Mellel, and (not an app, a technology) LaTeX. I tried them all, but only LaTeX creates a professional-looking …
