Let me start by saying that I'm a huge Apple fanboy and don't consider Windows even close to being the same class of OS as OS X. At the same time, I do use multiple OSes an a regular basis. I'm a bigger overall geek than Apple fanboy, I guess. I'm a…

I've never had a phone that didn't eventually have cracks, scratches and all sorts of blemishes all over it. I've had a case on my phone since I bought it, but it still has some scratches (most of which come from the case itself rubbing against the …

Sorry to sound like a snit, but I consider myself very lucky that most things really do 'just work' for me. Even during the height of the MobileMe disaster, I found it to be a very reliable service. I have two computers and an iPhone, plus my wife's…

Does it support Aero? The screen shots suggest that it still doesn't.

That is very interesting that they didn't include a click-pad like the new MB/MBP. I know I should just not saying anything if I can't say something nice, and there are plenty of people who do want/need one. However, I still just can't see why yo…

Last night, I caught the "Get a Mac: V Word" commercial followed immediately by an "I'm a PC" ad. The result of the two running together was that the MS ad looked like it was part of the Mac ad -showing a bunch of losers using crappy webcams. I laug…

I think the way they are handling this is very smart for now. However, I think future iPhones will be just as capable in terms of processing and memory allocation as full-size computers and run on the same size battery. Then, we will look back and l…

I just can't say it enough: TEXT MESSAGING IS A RIP OFF!! For some reason, it just pisses me off how much they charge for sending a few kb of text.

I just have to rant about this one more time. TEXT MESSAGES ARE THE BIGGEST RIP OFF IN THE WORLD!! It takes NOTHING for a carrier to deliver an SMS. It's only a few bits of text. It just angers me so much for some reason. I actually kinda jumped dow…

It just seems like SSD isn't as beneficial as I once thought it would be. In fact, I think most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test. What is holding it back? There has to be something they are missing. Or have they just pe…

I'd like to see Apple come up with a scanner attachment and store software for the iPhone so they can quit using Windows Mobile. I've always been a little embarrassed for them that they use WinMo.

Also, why would you carry both a BlackBerry and an iPhone? Are there really that many people who need the functionality of both? I could only assume the BlackBerry is work related and the iPhone is personal. But maybe not for much longer....

I had a BlackJack with AT&T before my iPhone and I pay about $20 a month less for the iPhone. So it is actually a better deal for a smartphone than AT&T's normal.

Good for them. I think this is one case Apple deserved to lose. Especially in the MacBook Pro, I would expect better quality displays. It almost seems like this should have been cause for class action since they deceived everyone who bought one.

I think parts of the rumor are probably true. It makes sense that Apple would be working on a 2.0 instead of 1.1.4. I think third-party app support alone is worth a whole number upgrade, but I'm sure there will be more as well.
