What's funny about the Cube and it's use as a comparison is that the Cube still lives in a slightly altered form. It's called the Mac Mini. The difference is that the Mac Mini doesn't seem quite as well made and costs less, but is even smaller.

It says on the Apple Website under Apple TV Tech Specs: iTunes Store purchased video: 320 by 240 pixels, 640 by 480 pixels, 720 by 480 pixels (anamorphic), or high-definition 720p

I can understand if you prefer to keep all your applications in one folder, but the nice thing about the mac is that they usually make things customizable for people who don't do things the same way you do. I like to organize my folder into thes…

I just have to say that I've been scared away from ever buying another iMac. I actually have not been affected by this issue, but since the dawn of post-G4 iMacs I have encountered the first product from Apple to consistently lack in quality. Any ot…

Actually, this is my BIGGEST peeve with OS X. In the Classic OS, you could put apps wherever you wanted. Each application had an ID that was used to locate it rather than a path. You could make aliases and move the original, it would still find it. …

I hope this 'Back to My Mac' feature of .Mac will eventually be a complete 'place-shifting' system including iPhone (and, keep dreaming, Windows) support. Leave all your documents including iTunes audio and video on one computer and access it via t…

$129 for a bluetooth earpiece that probably won't stay in your ear. Is it just me or does anyone else hate earbuds? Maybe I just have odd-sized ears...

Shouldn't the Apple Software Update in Windows update all the drivers to 1.3 without needing to make a CD? As I said, I just installed BootCamp for the first time last night, so I haven't seen this work yet.

I just downloaded and installed v1.2 last night on my MacBook. Since everything seems to work okay as it is, I probably won't worry about this one. Now I just need the upcoming version of parallels that will let me virtualize my Vista boot camp inst…

Things like this 17" PB problem really get me pissed at Apple sometimes. I understand that they don't want to have to replace the screens, but to delete entrie threads to keep it under the rug is unethical. Even though I don't have a 17" PB, I have …

I would buy it online if I was going to get one. Even then, you may not be able to get it right away. It seems like this will be similar to a Christmas PlayStation release.
