Even if it were possible, Apple is in the midst of making a shift as a hardware company to a hardware & services company. iCloud+ subscriptions for storage will more than make up for the much smaller percentage of people reducing that demand. …

The 18.1 betas are no longer listed on the Apple Developer website, there is no mention of them? Does anyone know what is up there?

To be clear, they aren't "paying" anything. They are offering a discount on future billing for the inconvenience. So if you terminate service with them, you don't get anything. That is not a payment, it's a very cheap sounding credit.

It's not just about being able to use the mouse when it is dead. There is also interference as an issue. We have our offices in Times Sq. and have quickly moved all of the "Magic Mouse"s that we own out of service. Why, you ask? Of course employ…

Apple is not the government, nor are they law enforcement, I don't want them trying to act as either. Also, these groups can bleat all they want, but are they going to ban Math classes in college? Anyone with a bit of math knowledge can make an en…

I question how you can "clone" a product that never existed. Pretty misleading headline. Looks like Tesla did something that Apple didn't release because they couldn't get it to full speed with Apple devices. Tesla is going to for the larger mark…

The previous comments on this seem to be non-sensical. It is 100% arbitrary to disable FaceID when a 3rd party replacement is done. Look at the car example. What if Ford/Volvo/Nissan (or anyone with a Pilot Assist System with a front camera) said…

While I don't necessarily agree with "Breaking Up Apple." I will say that there are some of their practices that bear scrutiny: Buying up companies that make products that Apple wants, hiring their execs and terminating most of the employees and th…

There will be problems created by anybody. This legislation already exists for something a lot more complicated and dangerous than our stupid phones: Cars. Would you like to be told that the only person who could fix a Ford is the Ford dealership.…

What the entire article fails to take into account is that if you are a "little guy" developer, then your cut ISN'T 30%. Apple has given no indication that it will change the under $1MM shift to a much lower cut. So this is one mega-corporation tr…
