Unless you REALLY want a MBP, I wouldn't get it. Your PowerBook is fine enough. Actually, it's an amazing machine and there's no point in getting rid of it so soon. If I were you, I'd wait for Rev. B (at the least) to get it.

I'm not surprised. It's a new chip, and most of these bugs can be fixed by software. However, ALL chips have bugs and some that are currently out have more than this.
