Having frequent updates is fine, but Apple should spare a thought for those that have slow dialup outside Europe and the US. I will have to try and coax the local Apple shop to download these things for me whenever they come out.

The disk appears only to contain an .rtf file called "Installing Mac OS X and Applications". The info about the file = 420k and the DVD is 7.7GB used. Is the rest hidden or am I missing something?

If VLC works with any region then surely the apple player is region limited and not the hardware? Why are apple being so anal? Windows PCs dont have this problem!
