I was counting only my desktops. My iBook's a mac and I love it...so I guess technically I've had 4 Macs. All of them still run....even my old performa 600! Remember those? I'm getting ready to sell my beige G3, although it's been a greatworkhorse a…

Wait till you get it...then we'll talk.

That's weird. One thing I have noticed is that if you just press the power once it kind of refreshes the screen. You have to hold it down for about 10 seconds to get it to restart. I locked mine up too...and it was with iPhoto, when I tried to load …

MacsGirl, did you get a "kernel Panic" or just the infinite spinning wheel? You can usually work your way around this without having to restart by doing a force quit (command, option, escape). You can even restart the finder! It's very cool, and wil…

I think it's brighter too. I actually have to dim it. I've never had to do that to a screen! Usually the other way around. Great screen.

if you at least have one laptop in the network, you bet your ass it's worth it. It's also worth it if it's too hard to wire your home. I love it. I even use it to split the cost of my broadband access with my neighbor.

I agree with Eman..the logitech wireless optical is a great mouse...but I'm not too sure it's cool looking. Still great mouse.

I think he's talking about the $59 iSub which is bigger and has a broader range (also more powerful) than the soundsticks. According to the tech specs the pro speakers plug into a digital audio out...not a headphone line out. the prospeakers plug in…

Hang in there Macintosh. Really. Good things come to those who wait. If you can trade your cube (which is a sweeeeeet machine) for the iBook then go for it...but if I'm not mistaken cubes are collectors items now. heck...I want one.It shouldn't take…

Sorry, I meant disk utility. select the disk in question and then go to options and drag down to eject....or do a "command e" to eject. Hope this helps.

Try using diskcopy to eject it.

Me three. Apple ed. store.

If your files are big and both macs have firewire, go that route. the speed is awesome. you should be able to access your networked machines even if there is no network access. In OSX do a command K under the finder. I should appear under local netw…

Hey Guys...we're making progress! Just got this email from the Apple Store...Macintosh, this applies to you too. To Our Valued Apple Customer: Thank you for your recent order for Apple's new iMac! We are very excited about the …

Macintosh, I ordered mine on the ninth...with airport and extra ram. Through the education store too. I saw my status go from partially shipped to being reviewed. I called and asked what was up. There was a slight screw up and once that was clear…

Sorry, couldn't help it. I've been taken over by mad digital lust . I can't ever remember wanting a mac this badly. Don't worry, I won't take your iMac. Mine will come soon and all will be well with the universe you can't blame me eit…
