Screen on my 17" MBP is great - even, bright & crisp. Loving the 17"-extre retail estate over my old 15" PB is nice, not too big to carry around. Speed & sound are fantastic!!

I wonder if the margin on the Mac Mini is higher & therefore this is partly offset agains the upgrades. In base spec the MB looks much better value than the Mac Mini

It does leave room... I would love to see one! Will apple procduce one? I suspect they have been rather busy changing all the other lines to intel. I hope that they can now spend some time on new products!! Fingers crossed

Yep - I have just ordered a 17" MBP. Did wonder about waiting for meron (sp) but then I would wait for the follow up to that etc so ended up getting now!
