My heart breaks for Mainland Chinese youth these days. No games, no creativity, not even extracurricular schooling – all that's left really is to join the military.

Apple's secret $275 billion deal is a standard cost for doing business in China. I'm sure other companies have similar deals. These deals are simply the way things work under China's ruling party.

This is probably a bug tbh. Unfortunately, Apple catering to the Chinese market has caused a lot of "bugs" in recent years. including mixing up the code bases for which countries and cities are blocked from seeing the Taiwan's Flag 🇹🇼.

It's truly sad what's happening to the Uyghur population in Xinjiang (the "New Province"). So many Uyghurs don't even get access to their own language. Imagine being punished for speaking, or trying to learn, your own language.

This is a bit of a stretch. iPhone users are ONLY at risk if they're chatting with users who've listed their country as China. Publicly, there are no other security holes right now, so it's perfectly safe to chat with users in every other country.
