I got one one, hated it, stopped using it. The batteries don't last long and it goes to sleep too quick (and yes, I know that one affects the other). You can buy it off me if you like

I admit it's a small thing and it's got nothing to do with the update to iCal, but the link to the NJ Devils schedule is broke. The correct link is "webcal://ical.mac.com/ical/Devils.ics".

Hardly conclusive evidence, but my Amazon.co.uk order has just been moved from 11 Oct to 14 Nov.

It won't be the 3rd, I think the 25th with stores opening in the evening.

I had one and took it back, I had a number of problems with it, it's worth you knowing that it's a Sony drive inside, not the "Apple-friendlier" Pioneer 106 - which I would recommend you look for.

Whatever you do DON'T get the Lacie DVD+/-R drive (part number ends in 686). It's an NEC drive and only really works with Toast, a nightmare. Better off with the Pioneer A05 or maybe the A06.

Anyone know about Panther's support for MS mice? what about the MS Bluetooth mouse buttons? Thanks.

To be fair, if MS did something to take away our current option of running VPC on a Mac they'd be opening themselves up to very clear accusations of abusing their position. It's not worth it for them. They may not develop (i.e. tune for 970) VPC but…

Carmack has always written for the best hardware that is to be available when his software ships. Doom III is not shipping yet - therefore your argument is pointless.

Sorry to bore you all, but it's clearly a play on the whole Malcolm X/Black Panther logo - if not from those times then certainly from the Spike Lee film. That is all.
