I am seeing people explain away the airs failings by saying that it has a certain market. This is obvious. But noone can justify why this product is so pricey - ultra protables are $400 - $750 for pretty similar functionality to the air. I adm…

this is proof that you should never read reviews by fanbois. Redundant and subjective points are everywhere yet you still cannot justify (after 5 pages) the use of the air. Why spend more money on something that is less. Especially as it does not …

Virtualisation Utter BS. The only reason Apple would want to personally do this is if they really really wanted to shit themselves in the foot. The only thing stopping developers from abandoning Carbon and Cocoa is because of the BootCamp restart…

Microsoft probably will, but who cares? There are better solutions out there anyway. Also you give a poor argument about developers not writing for mac os x. I don't wish to be rude but you should really give a better argument for such a big topi…

Heat is not a problem! The G4 and the core duo release completely different levels of heat at the same Ghz I know that they wont be the same Ghz but heat wont as much a big deal. The lowest 15 MBP is 1.8 ghz - i dont know if anyone here has speci…

Cough It would be cool, but not something many people would like. Furthermore the disk space associated with HD is too phenomenal for downloading or in many many Mac Mini/iBook cases too weighty. I mean an SD quality video takes up a huge amou…

I presume you have tried shutting everything down and logging out and then trying. It's most likely a deep system problem if anything. Have you tried shutting down though the Terminal? If that has failed you should really call Apple.

Apple stuff is so confusingly put together it all falls apart. For instance after 2 weeks of my G5 imac. -foot became misaligned -screen was rested straight (170 degrees ~) -the back was loose and if you push it softly you can feel movement …

At least there are less reasons now to not buy it. Apple is weighing too much on the MBP to site idle as people complain. Maybe the Nano scratch fiasco scared the sufficiently.

Therefore I can (re)download an SD or an HD movie. It'd be useful.
