Another question about Quake3 on Intel Mac : How can I turn ON antialiasing (FSAA) in Q3 ? On my G5, FSAA is turned ON with the help of ATI's control panel. On the Mac mini (NVidia video card), there isn't such a control panel...

What are the differences between the standard Quake3 1.32b app, and the Quake3 UB ? UB means "Universal binary", while the first one isn't ? EDIT : Okay, I've found out. UB = Universal Binary. Doh ! Why can't we erase our own post here ?

I finally brough a Mac mini yesterday at the Apple store (2.53 GHz + 4 GB + 320 GB HDD), with Iomega's 1TB external drive. The machine is so small and it is totally silent, in full contrast with my now dying G5 "monster" (huge enclosure and frequ…

Is there a way to turn ON FSAA (antialiasing), with the 9400M card ? I'm interested to try 4x oversampling and see the impact on framerate. This is for an astronomy application (Celestia). With my "old" G5 with its ATI x850 XT, there's a contro…

When do you think Apple will update the current mini ?

What do you think about the current Mac Mini, compared to an old G5 2.0 GHz dual, and what about the next gen Mini ? Do you think there should be an update to the Mac Mini, this summer ? More specifically, what about the Mini's video card (NVidi…

I agree with the last comments : PLEASE APPLE REMOVE THE OPTICAL DRIVE ! It's useless, on a portable computer ! Make the PRO portable thinner and lighter !
